Are you an IPHY, MCDB, NRSC, EBIO, BCHM, or any other major interested in a career in the Medical Field? Are you trying to discover the medical career that best fits your needs and future aspirations? The pre-health track can be very challenging, confusing, and fast-paced for students that are trying to prepare for their future while also taking difficult prerequisite classes like general chemistry or anatomy & physiology. There is no pre-determined way of fulfilling all of the requirements for graduate programs like M.D. school and PA school. It is essential for pre-health undergraduates to have a resource on campus that fills this gap in order to open new doors of opportunity for the future. CUPA is a student run organization that provides exactly this for students interested in the Physician Assistant career field. Don't exactly understand what a PA is or why people choose PA over MD/NP/etc.? This is the place to find out! There is a growing demand for PA's in the workforce, and an increasing number of accredited graduate programs looking to account for this. CUPA's Mission, as a CU Boulder RSO, is to provide the space for motivated students to collaborate, network, and share experiences when it comes to the pre-health undergraduate track. We have covered a wide range of wonderful opportunities for CUPA members such as: shadowing opportunities, volunteering opportunities, guest speakers from Anschutz, CASPA, PA's, AAPA, graduate PA programs, and more. We host workshops on topics such as: personal statements, interviews, the application process. Two of our amazing CUPA alumni have been accepted into this year's cohort of students at the CU Anschutz PA Program (ranked 7th in the nation!). Congratulations to Leslie Alvarez and Wit Kaczanowski on their hard work and acceptance into the program! Meetings will be announced every semester via email based on student's availability. For more frequent updates on meeting times/locations/content, join our GroupMe! Or, join our email list by sending us an email with your name. If there are any questions about the club, or if you would like to be added to our email list, please email us at cupa@colorado.edu. CU Physician Assistant Club has been an RSO at CU Boulder since 2019.

Mission
CU Global Brigades is a service-based student organization that focuses on improving global public health and international awareness. We travel once per year to a developing community outside of the US to learn, educate, and help these communities prosper. Using the Holistic Model developed by Global Brigades, we work with communities to meet their specific goals, with the end goal being complete self-sufficiency in the community after GB's time in-country. As the CU Boulder Medical chapter, we are one of the first groups to enter a location, and our student members help to assess the medical and public health needs of the community. Our members also participate in local volunteering around the Boulder/Denver area, and hold social events to create a community of passionate, outgoing, and kind-hearted pre-health students!

Mission
We strive to increase knowledge of the profession of optometry across the CU campus. Given that there is no optometry school in Colorado, we want to help pre-optometry students feel as prepared as possible when applying to optometry school and taking the OAT entrance exam. We aim to educate all interested pre-health students on the different types of optometry specialties and pre-optometry opportunities in our area.
