The Center provides a forum for free inquiry and open debate, and it promotes academic freedom and intellectual diversity on campus in a time of increasing political polarization and homogeneity.

The museum’s growing collection and diverse exhibitions and public programs promote, inspire and generate interdisciplinary scholarship and cultural expression. CU Art Museum mobilizes our strengths to support and enrich the academic and social missions of CU Boulder and to serve our communities in Boulder, statewide and beyond.

EcoReps is a program for students who would like to blend their interests in sustainability with a desire to develop some valuable leadership skillsÔé¼ÔÇØall while living in a residence hall community.This group of first-year and transfer students embarks on a year-long journey to learn about sustainability and green living through experience-based leadership program, field trips and training sessions. EcoReps then share this new-found knowledge with their residence hall communities through active programming and dialogue that builds community and provides invaluable professional experience for the EcoReps themselves.Throughout the year, EcoReps will sponsor a variety of initiatives and events to help promote sustainability in the residence halls, on campus, and in the greater community. Mission
Playback Theatre is an interactive, improvisational theatre form in which audience members share true stories or experiences from their lives and see them “played back” by an ensemble of trained actors in ways that encourage insight across difference.

Like a cross between a town hall meeting and an improvisational performance, one actor from the ensemble (“the conductor”) engages the audience in a collective conversation, asking questions that address the specific concerns of those gathered. The audience’s responses are played back on the spot in non-confrontational ways that boost insight, strengthen social bonds, and lift civic spirit.

DeanÔÇÖs Student Cabinet is a Leeds-sponsored, student-led initiative that aims towards creating a positive shift in the Leeds Culture and uniting the community. Over the past four years, the initiative has worked towards accomplishing these overarching goals by developing our Leeds Values: Academic Excellence, Integrity, Inclusion, Community, and Forward-Looking. We have strived towards integrating these values into the Leeds culture through student engagement events, community service events, and the classroom experience. Some past accomplishments include speaker events with corporate executives Ellen Balaguer, Justin Gold of JustinÔÇÖs Nut Butters, a school-wide food drive, and the adoption of the Leeds Values into numerous curriculum syllabi.
