Design Thinking for Sustainability Workshop

Want to learn more about how to make an impact as a sustainability leader? Want to meet students who share a passion for sustainability and making a difference? Join us for this interactive workshop!

Participants will learn how to use the design thinking process to explore problems, brainstorm solutions, and present them as a team. Students will also learn circular design strategies and work together to re-design an everyday product to make it more sustainable. Dinner will be provided!

This workshop will be facilitated by Becky Komarek, associate director of Idea Forge at CU. Ideas generated will be eligible for cash prizes in the upcoming Student Ideas Showcase at the Sustainability Summit. Participation in this workshop also counts towards earning the Sustainability Innovation micro credential.
