Mission
CU SRL is a student-led rocket group, created to give members from a diverse array of majors (all engineering disciplines, business, undergraduate, graduate) the ability to participate in rocket engineering and manage a real business. The rocket club designs, builds and tests all aspects of a rocket using the skills and experience gained from the curriculum taught at CU Boulder and provides its members with valuable hands-on experience. This experience is broad and ranges from engineering to business, to manufacturing. In addition to providing its members with this practical experience, the club's goals include the development of a vehicle that can reach space and launching a rocket propelled by a liquid rocket engine.
